Nabuma is a Cyprus -based neo-soul band that has been captivating audiences since 2018. Their sound is groove-driven and rhythmically hypnotic, blending emotive vocals with textured, powerful arrangements to create an immersive listening experience. Their music explores themes of self-discovery, emotional resilience, and human connection, delivered with honesty and artistry.

Nabuma is a collaboration of four musicians who blend personal storytelling with rich jazz influences and contemporary sounds. Songs often begin from one member’s idea—or grow organically as everyone adds their own touch—until they reach a shared creative vision.

Nicole Ardanitou, the band’s vocalist and songwriter, crafts the lyrics from her own life experiences. She explores expressive melodies and evocative chord progressions that give Nabuma its emotional depth.

Andreas Matheou, bassist, backing vocalist, co-writer, and the creative force behind the band’s artistic direction and genre identity. He is also the producer of the EP Tapedeck, which marked the beginning of Nabuma’s musical journey. 

Kris Grecian, on drums, provides the steady pulse and groove that anchor the band’s evolving sound. A loyal and dedicated member, his rhythmic sensibility keeps the music grounded and dynamic.

The main jazz inspiration comes from Alexis Kasinos, the band’s electric guitarist and a composer in his own right. His harmonic sophistication and improvisational flair bring depth and color to Nabuma’s music.
